Using LibreOffice, I tried to confine the cursor to the writing area, but it was very buggy and virtually unusable. To be usable, the cursor cannot go into the left and right margin areas, i.e., the cursor must stay in the writing area. The right margin is separated from the writing area with one vertical line.
